Cherry Blossoms in Isawa Onsen, Yamanashi | Best Time to See Sakura Near Itoyanagi Koyado Yuwa
In Fuefuki, Yamanashi Prefecture, where Itoyanagi Koyado Yuwa is located, cherry blossoms typically begin to bloom around late March.
In 2024, they reached full bloom on April 5th.
SAKURA ONSEN STREET
Sakura Onsen Street is a popular cherry blossom spot in Yamanashi Prefecture, featuring a 900-meter-long stretch of blooming sakura. The street has a promenade for easy walking and is beautifully illuminated at night.
Itoyanagi Koyado Yuwa is located along Sakura Onsen Street.
Courtyard Weeping cherry blossom
While the cherry blossoms on the street are not visible from inside Yuwa, the courtyard features beautiful weeping cherry trees in bloom. These trees can be admired from the lounge and Arashi no Yu.
The best spot for viewing weeping cherry blossoms at Yuwa is in the guest rooms. All rooms at "Yamazakura" have a view of the cherry blossoms in the courtyard, and some rooms have weeping cherry blossoms in front of them.
View from your room
Fuefuki-city, Yamanashi Prefecture, is Japan's largest producer of peaches. You will see peach blossoms blooming in the city from early April, followed by cherry blossoms.
Peaches are cultivated across about 1,200 hectares in Fuefuki City, and it's said there are some 250,000 peach trees in the city. if you look out over the city from upland areas during peach blooming season, your field of view will be filled with a fantastic landscape colored be peach flowers.
It looks like a pink carpet, with the alluvial fan becoming a literal Peach Blossom Land.
