Itoyanagi Koyado Yuwa - Hot Spring(Onsen) hotel in Isawaonsen, Yamanashi
Approximately a 90 minute train journey from Tokyo. After passing through a paradise of peach blossoms you will arrive at Isawa Onsen Village.
Celebrating its 60th anniversary, the relaxing residence "Yuwa" (previously "Kunitachi") keeps its homely atmosphere with the soothing baths, and delicious wine, as its signature features. From young children to the elderly, our staff will warmly welcome guests of all ages to ensure a truly relaxing experience.
We take pride in every detail of our setup and services to ensure that guests can relax, rejuvenate, and nurture their health and beauty. After choosing
your favorite coloured yukata, you can stroll around the onsen village. This will make you feel miles away from everyday life.
Despite being a small, homely inn, we have plenty of relaxing areas, such as a lounge with a library featuring picture books for children and books
related to Yamanashi. There is also a courtyard with a tranquil garden pond.
Rooms
◆ Yamazakura room ◆
Size: 47 square meters / Capacity: 3
These Japanese-modern style rooms with TOTO baths, all face the courtyard. This allows you to
enjoy the seasonal scenery, such as cherry blossoms in spring, fresh greenery in summer, autumn
foliage, and snow in winter.
◆ Special rooms with open-air baths ◆
Limited to 3 groups per daySize: 10 tatami mats + 6 tatami mats (adjoining room) + garden with porch / Capacity: 5 people
In these rooms, you can enjoy an open-air hot spring in your own private garden area. The open-air
hot spring is large enough for the whole family to enjoy. The Japanese-style room is divided into two
spacious areas, sleeping area and relaxing area, making them convenient for multi-generational
families or groups.
◆ Nonohana-tei ◆ Japanese-style room
Size: 10 tatami mats / Capacity: 5 people
The standard rooms, which can accommodate up to 5 people, are available on the 2nd and 3rd floors,
with a total of 10 rooms available. All rooms offer grand views of the Southern Alps peaks. On clear
days, the sunrises and sunsets that paint the mountains red are especially remarkable.

◆ Arashi no Yu ◆ Natural hot spring medicinal stone bath
This natural hot spring medicinal stone bath contains 15 types of medicinal and natural hot spring minerals. Laying in the room with a 95% humidity at 45℃, within 1-2 minutes, You will start to sweat refreshingly. The bath attendant will then adjust your position and the amount of hot spring water according to your preference. This will allow you to absorb the minerals of the medicinal stones and the benefits of the hot springs simultaneously.

◆ Private baths ◆
Previously a Daiyokujo (public bath), the area now has multiple private baths which are easy to reserve.
"Akari" has two large tubs, "Kaze" is a stone bathtub with a calming atmosphere, and "Yama" a red ceramic bathtub, has a modern and chic feel.
Dinner
For dinner, we offer a menu that highlights the seasonal ingredients and flavors unique to Yamanashi.
From appetizers to desserts, each dish perfectly captures the charm of the local area. This is matched
perfectly with our selection of local Yamanashi wines that are picked to work in harmony with the food.
Breakfast is served in a set meal style using fresh, locally sourced ingredients to start your day brightly.
